Refund Policy

This policy explains how Gradhaven handles deposits, cancellations, and any approved refunds. Final refund terms are contained in the signed lease agreement and applicable law.

1. Application fees

Any non-refundable application or processing fee (if charged) will be clearly disclosed before payment.

2. Deposit refunds

Security deposit treatment, permitted deductions, and refund timelines are governed by the signed lease, checkout inspection, and South African rental legislation.

3. Cancellation by applicant/resident

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Charges or refund eligibility may apply based on notice period, occupancy start date, and lease obligations.

4. Processing timelines

Where a refund is approved, processing timelines depend on payment channel and bank clearing times. Gradhaven will provide status updates on request.
