  • Room preference and funding source (NSFAS, bursary, private)
  • Desired move-in date
  • Any additional information you provide in messages

We use your personal information solely for the following purposes:

  • Processing your accommodation application
  • Responding to enquiries submitted via our contact form
  • Communicating about your application status or lease
  • Complying with NSFAS and institutional reporting requirements
  • Meeting legal and regulatory obligations

3. Who we share your information with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share relevant details with:

  • NSFAS or bursary providers, where you have indicated government-funded accommodation
  • Your university or college, for placement verification purposes
  • Service providers who assist with email delivery (e.g. form submission services)

4. Data retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined above, or as required by law. Application data for unsuccessful applicants is deleted within 12 months.

5. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Object to the processing of your information
  • Withdraw consent at any time

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
